**Key Responsibilities**

**Innovation & Customer Collaboration**
- Partner closely with private label customers to understand their brand goals, their needs.
- Lead the creation and development of innovative products tailored to each customer’s unique positioning.
- Present product concepts and technical recommendations with confidence to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and act quickly on emerging market opportunities to help customers stay ahead of the curve.

**Product Development & Agility**
- Oversee end‑to‑end development, from bench to factory, ensuring speed to market without compromising quality.
- Work seamlessly with operations to ensure smooth scale‑up and production readiness.

**Team Leadership & Growth**
- Lead, coach, and inspire a talented team of food scientists.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to 2 direct reports.

**Cross‑Functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with sales, procurement, and operation teams to ensure alignment on customer expectations and technical standards.
- Maintain open communication and fast feedback loops to keep projects moving forward.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in food R&D, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in private label or customer‑specific product development would be an asset.
- Strong formulation, and commercialization experience.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with both internal teams and external customers.
