We have an opening for a CNC Router Operator. It’s an exciting time in the sign industry and we want YOU to be a part of it You must have previous experience working with a CNC Router machine and be willing to learn different areas in the shop. The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more: - Set-up and operate AXYZ CNC machine - Manage material inventory to coincide with CNC production queue - Troubleshoot CNC-related problems - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods and sequences - Mount / Install, align and secure tooling as per requirement - Calculate and set machine controls to position the work piece and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed and feed rates - Focus on list of daily work and be conscious of minimizing downtime. - Spend time reviewing fine details of shop drawings to ensure full understanding before starting production. - Measure times & record in company ERP system - Planning time before starting day/project to ensure jobs are prioritized based on production manager's requirements. - Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing outlined by Twilight Signs - Follow Twilight Signs & Neon’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and the safety requirements of the Ministry of Labour.
