Landscape Construction Labourer/ Driver

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. with the nature of our business, physical labour onsite with the construction team is also required when transportation of goods is not required.

This position requires the confident operation of heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators and securing them for transport.

**Duties**
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Work with construction team to provide general labour.

- Load and unload skid steers and excavators.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Physically fit to work with construction team when driving is not required.
- Familiarity with skid steer operation and heavy equipment operation is desirable..
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 4 years (preferred)
- Skilled Labor: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
