**About the role**:
Our team is looking for a Commodity Manager skilled at leading sourcing strategies and driving cost savings for our commodity assignments. We're looking to further develop our commodity management structure, and this is an awesome opportunity to use your strong change management skills and make your mark in an amazing, growth-minded organization
This role is eligible for a **hybrid** work arrangement in which you can either work part-time at the company location in **London ON** and part-time remotely from your home. Multiple locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only **one position** is available.
**Day to day**
- Adopt and incorporate your dynamic understanding of marketplace technologies into Trojan Technologies value proposition.
- Identify and implement business improvement initiatives and inspire change through Danaher Business System (DBS)
- Build, evaluate and maintain a ‘best in class’ supplier base; Work with global procurement teams to establish site manufacturing inputs / requirements are aligned with center led strategy
- Develop RFP's and RFQ's to support engineering specifications and project requirements
- Design, and lead supplier contract negotiations
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or another applicable program with 7 to 10 years of procurement / category management experience
- Previous experience in a global company, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP / ERP materials planning systems. Baan or LN experience is a plus
- Demonstrated track record procuring custom engineered water treatment equipment will be welcomed

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
