Are you looking for some extra hours as a yoga teacher in East York/Scarborough? Do you have a passion for teaching yoga to seniors and children?

If so, Chikara Travelling Yoga is looking for you We teach yoga and mindfulness in senior living centres, schools, and day cares across Toronto and are looking for freelance yoga instructors to work with us as we expand in East York/Scarborough. Please contact us to learn more.

$60 for the first hour as a lead instructor at a booking, $50 for subsequent hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct yoga classes for groups in-person at locations in East York/Scarborough
- Develop and implement yoga lesson plans that are safe, engaging, and suitable for participants of different skill levels
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of yoga poses and techniques
- Offer modifications and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and prevent injuries
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants
- Monitor participants' progress and provide guidance and feedback as needed

Qualifications:

- Certified yoga instructor with a recognized certification program (e.g. Yoga Alliance)
- Strong knowledge of various yoga styles, techniques, and principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively guide and motivate participants
- Ability to adapt to different skill levels and modify instruction accordingly
- Passion for promoting health, wellness, and mindfulness through yoga practice
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 5 per week
