Are you passionate about getting students interested in science, particularly technology? Do you love watching them get excited about learning? The Science Communicator - Education will be a key member of the Education and Northern Programs team. Science North's education team are leaders in informal education, reaching students across Ontario with hands-on STEM content both virtually and in person. As one of our Science Communicators you will work with the team on the development and delivery of school programs for students. Programming covers a wide range of STEM topics, focusing particularly on supporting development of resources for the new Tech-Ed curriculum. Position Highlights
- Development and delivery of in-person school programs
- Delivery of virtual school programs
- Development of lesson plans
- Creating and filming videos to support the curriculum
- Supporting evaluation of school programs

- Passion for science, technology and education
- Exceptional verbal communication skills in both English and French
- Demonstrated experience in presentation and program delivery
- Prior experience in content development
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple demands
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills

**Compensation Highlights**:
- Competitive salary package starting at $37,300 per year
