Afternoon Shift Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
Shift Premium $1.25

The Labourer, Mill prepares products and participates in wood production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Piles lumber
- Loads and unloads lumber from machines
- Tags and bands lumber
- Operates nail guns and saws
- Safe and responsible operation of company equipment
- Performs the work safely according to applicable codes, standards and to Stella-Jones health and safety program
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Proficiency in English
- Physical capabilities and qualifications
- Ability to lift lumber, twisting and turning, bending, and standing for extended period
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of wood and lumber products, an asset
- Ability to perform the tasks without causing damage to product or equipment
- Safety conscious
- Basic Math Skills
