Vendor Business Manager- Personal Computing

**SUMMARY**
The Vendor Business Manager is responsible for managing the overall sales and marketing strategy for D&H Canada’s Personal Computing vertical category. With primary responsibility for managing the category P/L, the Vendor Business Manager develops the go to market strategy for individual vendors to drive profitable growth. The Vendor Business Manager collaborates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to exceed their goals and is an experienced people leader, who effectively manages a high-performance sales specialist team by creating a positive environment that fosters individual growth and allows each to realize their full potential and deliver meaningful results.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Works collaboratively with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals.
- Develop business strategies and works cross-departmentally to execute the tactical plan.
- Promote and communicate D&H Canada’s value proposition to vendors and resellers.
- Develop and manage plans to maximize vendor profitability.
- Develop and present proposals to assigned vendors and D&H Canada leadership team.
- Understands financial levers and can develop revenue and profit growing strategies.
- Develops and maintains relationships with the assigned vendors.
- Is an experienced people manager and effective performance manager.
- Is a confident speaker and can share high level vision/strategies with C-Level executives.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- **University degree, College diploma (3-year program), and a minimum of twelve months related experience.
- Prefer IT channel experience working at a vendor, distributor, or reseller.
- French language skills not required but a plus.
- Relevant information technology certifications, people management certifications, project management certifications a plus.

Schedule:
