DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customer and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
- Act as the internal expert of processes and solutions within assigned functional business departments/divisions.
- Recommend areas for process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with IT project managers on large projects.
- Take ownership of the projects, maintain a high level of interaction with end users to communicate status updates and deadlines.
- Configure purchased solutions to expand the capability of the solution.
- Lead the development of solution testing and training plans.
- Multi-task and prioritize projects based on biggest impact to the business.
- Lead review of project status logs with assigned functional business department/division.
- Interact with solutions vendors and consultants and assist with prioritization of work requiring vendor of consultant involvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a liaison between IT and another business focus, or experience working on large, cross-functional projects.
- Additional training or post-secondary coursework in project management is an asset
- Must possess a valid drivers license for the types of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in related field, 5-8 years’ of related and/or operational experience, or equivalent combination
- In-depth knowledge of ERP software such as Viewpoint is an asset
- Competent with reporting: SQL, Crystal, Dashboards, Pivot charts
- Additional training or post-secondary coursework in project management is an asset

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in related field, 5-8 years’ of related and/or operational experience, or equivalent combination

LANGUAGES
- Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
