**Role Description**

This is a part-time and full-time on-site role as a Loss Prevention Agent at Canadian Tire located in Ottawa and Kanata, ON. As a Loss Prevention Agent, you will be responsible for monitoring the facility, detecting and preventing theft, and responding to emergency situations when necessary. You will also conduct investigations and provide support for internal and external audits. This role requires a proactive and vigilant approach to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in loss prevention, asset protection, security, law enforcement, or a similar field
- Solid understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices
- Strong observational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address potential security risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members of the public and colleagues.
- Experience with security technology systems and software (e.g. CCTV, incident reporting systems, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be able to pass a background screening and employment reference check.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Completion of a security-related training program is an asset.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset.

Compensation $19-24 per hour.

Shift 32 to 44 hours per week.
