QUANTUM UTILTIES Ltd is looking for **experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers/Locators** to join their growing team as they expand work within the Province of Manitoba.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

- Complete Daily Permit on site prior to starting work (SiteDocs).
- Complete Daily Inspection of Vehicles & Equipment (SiteDocs).
- Operate Vehicles and Equipment Including but not limited to:

- Operate Vermeer S3 drills (23x30,20x22,10x15,9x13) and F5/F2 Falcon locators.
- Operate Drill Truck(Freightliner/ Kenworth reefer trucks or F600/F550) with Felling trailers.
- Transport associated tools, materials, and/or equipment in a safe manner.
- Document and submit any maintenance/repair reports of Vehicles/Equipment.
- Document and report any incident/near-misses.
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors and other team members to ensure work is done in a safe, and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors conducting manual labour for extended periods of time.
- Navigate around live utilities.
- Load and unload directional drill equipment in a manner that is secure and damage-free.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.

**Requirements**:

- Class 3 License with Air (required)
- Class 1 License (Ideal)
- Able to work flexible hours depending on the needs of the project (Overtime, Evenings, etc.)

**Salary**: $26.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

**Experience**:

- Horizontal drilling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3 Licence (required)
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)

- 75% (required)
