**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

**Duties**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff to report changes in patient conditions or needs

**Skills**
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred
- Strong background in patient care and senior care practices
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities and providing tailored support
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and techniques
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks including cleaning, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
