- **What we are looking for**:_
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is excited to join a fun but focused team. This position will be providing part-time, full-cycle Bookkeeping as well as assisting the Controller as needed. We are changing processes throughout and require someone who is excited to grow with us and who can accept and adapt to change easily. We are flexible with hours and can also accommodate hybrid / remote work for the right person.
- **Location**:_ Kelowna, BC
- **Job Type**:_ Part-time, permanent
- **Tasks**:_
- Accounts Payable including recording, coding, posting, and generating payments.
- Accounts Receivable
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, accruals, and all other balance sheet accounts
- Payroll
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Government remittances including GST, PST and EHT.
- Administrative tasks as needed.
- **Qualifications**:_
- A minimum of 2 years experience doing full-cycle Bookkeeping
- Quickbooks Online experience
- A team player attitude
- Organized with great attention to detail.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kelowna, BC V1X 7H5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
