**The Opportunity**: We're currently seeking a Sales Trainee to join our vibrant team at our Mississauga, Ontario location. As a Sales Trainee you'll be the friendly face that greets our customers, both over the phone and at the front counter, Monday through Friday (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). No two days are alike in this role - you'll have the chance to work on the front lines, assisting customers with their orders, inquiries, and providing exceptional service.

**What You'll Do**:

- Take orders from customers and provide assistance with merchandise or service inquiries
- Handle phone and web-based sales orders, including making quotations and processing confirmations and purchase orders
- Ensure accurate data entry and attention to detail in all transactions
- Collaborate with team members to get the clients the products they need
- Learn about the tools and equipment that our clients use to keep North America working one tool at a time
- Train on improving sales skills using individualized feedback and coaching to grow accounts and seek sales opportunities with existing clients - no cold calling

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intermediate computer skills
- Proven ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal communication skills in English

Not required, but a plus:

- 2-5 years of order entry experience, preferably in a branch-based B2B environment
- Strong customer service skills with a client-facing mindset
- Bilingual French/English
- Knowledge of metalworking tools and equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
