**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented **Travel Consultant** to join our team. As a Travel Consultant at **Battlefield Travel**, you will work directly with clients to create tailored travel experiences, providing expert advice and outstanding customer service. Your role will involve planning trips, organizing tours, and ensuring our travelers’ journeys are smooth, educational, and memorable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and interests in historical and military destinations.
- Design customized itineraries that include visits to battlefields, military sites, and historical landmarks.
- Offer expert advice on travel logistics, accommodations, transportation, and historical relevance.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel experience, from initial consultation to post-trip follow-up.
- Manage client bookings, ensuring all travel arrangements are seamless and well-organized.
- Stay updated on the latest travel trends, historical destinations, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with tour guides, historians, and other travel experts to ensure high-quality experiences.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in travel consulting or a related customer service role.
- Strong interest or background in history, especially military history or cultural heritage.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
- A passion for creating memorable travel experiences for clients.
