**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Setting up and using MIG arc welding equipment (Lincoln S500 and S350 machines)
- Operating semi and fully automatic welding equipment in combination with jigs and fixtures
- Loading and unloading parts and finished product using an overhead crane
- Tacking and prepping parts for welding
- Using a grinder to add beveled edges for but joints and removing weld on seams that are required to be flat ground
- Operating a forklift to move parts in the facility
- Operating a plate rolling machine
- Operating a CNC plasma cutting table
- Adhering to all Evolution Wheel Safety standards and policies
- Minimum 2 years working as a welder or in a related field
- Welding tickets
- Experience and knowledge of welding to CWB weld standards
- Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints and processes
- Lean Manufactirng knowledge including 5S and experience considered an asset

**Additional Job Information**:

- Employees will be required to provide their own steel toe boots and wear them at all times. All other PPE for this position will be provided by Evolution Wheel.
- A driver’s licence is not a requirement for this position; however, employees will need to arrive at work on time.

**About Us**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Welding: 2 years (preferred)
