**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, nap times, and playtime.
- Implement educational programs that cater to the individual needs of each child.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the childcare space.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support children with disabilities and ensure inclusive practices.
- Observe and document children's behavior and development for assessment purposes.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to pass a criminal background and vulnerable sector check.
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities, is highly valued.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
- A nurturing demeanor with excellent caregiving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50-$33.12 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
