**About the job**:
Under the supervision of the Director, Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, you will be responsible for producing the various detailed financial analyses based on historical and prospective financial results. You will be responsible for the financial modeling of M&A projects for the company, as well as being involved in day-to-day due diligence activities.

**Your future responsibilities as a M&A Analyst**:

- Perform preliminary and functional analyses for M&A or divestiture mandates;
- Identify, document and manage the various risk factors surrounding current projects;
- Participate in M&A and corporate finance mandates, including partnership financing mandates;
- Carry out comparative profitability studies, compile data on similar companies (benchmarking) and perform market-based relative value analyses;
- Analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats specific to a target or partner and its sector of activity, in order to assess the inherent risks and their impact on the company's cash flow;
- Ensure the proper functioning of compliance processes and the financial monitoring of participations;
- Any other tasks aimed at improving the organization's efficiency and profitability.

**Do you have the profile?**
- You have a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting and/or finance;
- You have 3 to 5 years' transactional experience in a similar position;
- You have excellent knowledge of financial modeling tools (Excel);
- You have a background in financial modeling;
- You have excellent knowledge of the Office suite (PowerPoint);
- You have good analytical and summarizing skills;
- You have good observation skills;
- You have good time and priority management skills;
- You have good communication skills;
- You have skills in producing business acquisition projects and presenting them to managers;
- You have a good knowledge of the French language (spoken and written);
- You have a basic knowledge of English (spoken and written);
- You demonstrate independence, sound judgment and thoroughness.
