Barn Worker

**Bouvry Exports** is hiring a **_Barn Runner_** who will be responsible for running livestock through barn operating livestock handling system**. W_e provide_** full training and all PPE's. **Y_ou provide_** your own vehicle, a great work ethic and the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Our plant is located just east of Fort Macleod only 30 minutes from Lethbridge or Claresholm

**Compensation & Hours**:
*$18-20 an hour, depending on experience

*6:30am - 3:00pm, typically Monday thru Friday (occasional overtime when required)

*Shared Benefit package after 3 months; incentive bonuses

**Position Summary**:
Moving of animals from holding pens through barn and counting of animals

Operating a variety of switches to set the doors/gates as animals are moved through the barn

Recording of animal identification (colour, sex, etc.)

Ensure all animals are recorded and paperwork is properly complete and placed in proper locations

**Required Qualifications**:
Must have knowledge of animals (cattle, horse), such as colouring, sex, etc

You have the ability to record information accurately

You must be capable of performing physically demanding and repetitive work

You must be prepared to work standing on your feed for an entire shift within a variety of temperatures

You have the ability to work unsupervised, as well as, within a team

**Bonus Points For**:
*Previous job experience in production environment an asset
