**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Hygiene or Engineering, or a College Diploma in Occupational Hygiene or Health and Safety

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out indoor air quality investigations and testing
- Conduct inspections during occupational hygiene and health & safety projects including mould remediation projects (e.g. containment inspections, progress inspections, clearance visual inspections, etc.)
- Carry out infection prevention control assessments and investigations in health care settings
- Conduct inspections as part of COVID-19 cleanup including air sampling/surface testing
- Carry out air sampling studies as part of chemical exposure assessments
- Carry out noise and heat stress assessments and testing
- Carry out confined space assessments and characterization
- Carry out water quality testing studies including sampling for legionella
- Carry out risk assessments for chemical, physical and biological hazards
- Conduct inspections during asbestos abatement projects (e.g. containment inspections, progress inspections, clearance visual inspections, etc.); Conduct hazardous building materials surveys; Conduct bulk and air sampling for asbestos; and Perform Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) analysis
- Prepare daily progress reports
- Prepare project reports detailing the work completed, applicable regulatory framework, findings, conclusions and recommendations in a timely, accurate and complete manner
- Supervise contractors during abatement and remediation projects
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships, enhancing client confidence in OHE and the services provided
- Provide accurate and scientific records of field data; monitor results and observe site activities. Relay pertinent information to Project Managers, as appropriate
- Effectively manage current and upcoming assignments, remaining aware of issues, expectations and progress of all assigned projects
- Provide support to colleagues (e.g. provide appropriate input, suggestions, insights)
- Assure completeness of projects and accuracy of reports
