**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The primary function and purpose of this position is to oversee and ensure the proper operation of plant production facilities.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensures plant operations: Operates an air separation plant and the gas pipeline backup system. Ensures safe start-up, operation and shutdown of plant operations. Loads trucks with oxygen, nitrogen and argon. Ensures compliance with the procedures established by the Quality System of the Large Industries group.
- Ensures the maintenance of the equipment: ensures the periodic follow-up of the equipment. Is familiar with the properties of industrial gases and cleaning methods for the oxygen department. Intervenes in the event of equipment breakdown.
- Safety/Quality: Respects the wearing of protective equipment. Pay particular attention to lockout procedures and confined space access procedures. Participates in the maintenance of the plant's emergency procedures.
- Provides administrative follow-up: Completes and forwards all incident reports. Completes daily production data reports in the system and required plant statements.
- Process Improvement: Works collaboratively with team and cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.

- Operation of process and various equipment;
- Truck loading of oxygen, nitrogen and argon;
- Health and safety inspection and equipment maintenance rounds;
- Management of work permits and lockout procedures for equipment;
- Participate in the planning and management of maintenance and operation work.

**Profile and skills**
- This position is located in Contrecoeur (air separation plant).
- You have a High School Diploma with relevant experience or College Diploma in petrochemistry or other.
- You have experience in an industrial environment.
- You make health and safety your priority.
- You are dynamic and enjoy physical work.
- Knowledge: compressed and cryogenic gases, handling and transportation of hazardous materials. Must have knowledge of air separation process and refrigeration units (an asset).
