**JOB SUMMARY - SHIFT MANAGER**

Ensures quality service and cleanliness standards are being maintained through employee training, daily inspections of the facility and equipment and team member supervision. Provides on-going and varied assistance to the General Manager to optimize restaurant operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Available 7 days a week.
- Great supervision skills with a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
- Friendly outgoing attitude
- Strong guest service skills

**RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS**
- Management/Supervision
- Supervise and directs team members, including monitoring work performance, prioritizing daily work requirements, training, guiding and assisting, providing input for annual performance and recommending corrective action as required
- Supervises guest service and production team members in the absence of the General Manager, and during peak guest service times.
- Assist with cooking and food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling and safety standards
- Conduct guest service training with team members
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure the safety of all restaurant occupants through hazard identification, training and follow-up
- Conducts accident investigation and ensures proper documentation and follow-up
- Ensure quality, service and cleanliness standards are being met through ongoing team member supervision and conduct required audits, e.g. Restaurant Excellence Walk, Shift Line checks/Shift Report and Steritech check.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency
- Organization and Administration
- Performs Inventory count and monitor wastages
- Coordinates the prompt request for repair of building and equipment deficiencies

**Everyone is eligible for tips which range from $1.50 to $4.00 addition to your hourly pay.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

Additional pay:
