**Who you are?**

**Responsibilities**
Breaking the mold of a traditional contact centre environment, the adviceDirect advisor is responsible to primarily support clients in the inbound call queue. A successful advisor will invoke trust and build strong client relationships, determine individual investment needs and provide professional, customized advice to ensure client’s financial goals are met. Advisors will support clients with various requests such as onboarding, account access, various trade orders, investment strategies, suitability conversations etc. Advisors will also be required to fulfill sales and service activities for the clients in accordance with approved procedures.
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) & Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) /CIRO licensed as an Investment Representative or Registered Representative
- Knowledge of equity, mutual funds, GICs, HISAs, ETFs and bonds.
- Robust knowledge and familiarity with commonwealth management strategies and their relative strengths and weaknesses
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of client need by segmentation
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills.
- Bilingualism - Strong verbal and written language skills in both French and English
- Industry Accreditations or working towards preferred (CIM, CFA, CFP)
You’re fluent in French and English as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.
**Salary**:
$44,500.00 - $82,500.00
**Pay Type**:
Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
