- How your role will add to the story:
- The CCM will also monitor the competitive landscape to ensure that MBC maintains a leadership position in the connected service and ADAS space. All service portfolio decisions taken must keep MBC’s service offering as simple as possible, address competitive/market realities, and allow for the achievement of company sales and profitability goals - now and in the future. The CCM will achieve this by working closely with market research teams.
- A day in the life- The CCM will develop model year strategies for digital service portfolios 12-24 months prior to their implementation including pricing, functionality, availability, technical pre-requisites, etc.
- You will work closely with the North American team to evaluate MB’s digital offering, conduct market research, evaluate the local competitive landscape, and maintain relevant departments informed of MB’s cross carline offering.
- The CCM will assist in defining lifecycle strategies in order to achieve Mercedes-Benz AG’s (MBAG) and MBC’s strategic goals. The CCM will work closely with the Digital Sales Business Development Manager (DSBDM) in order to fulfill volume planning targets.
- You will act as the key agent for cross-carline topics at the Launch Committee, communicating digital service roll-outs, and answer any questions.
- The CCM ensures timely communication of digital service information to product managers to ensure that product profiles are updated with necessary codes, pricing is accurate and approved by controlling, dealer ordering guides (PIP) are up-to-date, etc.
- You will develop pricing proposals, gain alignment and approval for new and carry-over digital services on a yearly basis as part of the yearly pricing approval process.
- You will provide the DSBDM with pricing and roll-out information for digital services by carline for upcoming year.
- Represent assigned products, on behalf of MB Canada, in an enthusiastic, polished and professional manner.
- Present to press at local short lead press programs and auto shows, as necessary.
- Present all new incoming relevant products & services to MBCAN head office staff.
- Present at other events, as required.
- Adapt global marketing plans (as necessary) for the Canadian market; focus on identifying/clarifying USPs, target market, demo
- and psychographics, product strengths and defining strategies to highlight them in communication materials.- Review marketing materials to ensure product accuracy.
