- As an Assistant Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure team, you will collaborate with the site team by coordinating project-related activities at the heart of the Heavy Earthworks business unit. Working on large-scale construction projects — ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion — you will have the opportunity to solve various technical challenges and maintain essential communication with the different stakeholders.-
- What you will do- Assist the project team with coordination and project support.
- Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
- Effectively collect, review and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining the very best prices in the market.
- Assemble, attend, document and emphasize the importance of project meetings.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project.This role could be for you if you have- Roughly 3+ years’ experience in the ICI construction industry.
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes and associated legislation.
- A proven track record for project leadership and team collaboration.
