**THE POSITION: ANALYTICAL CHEMIST**

**RESPONSIBILITY**

**DUTIES**
- Responsible for Identification, ROI, LOI, LOD, viscosity, melting point, congealing point, boiling point etc. of raw materials and finished products in accordance with the established compendial, clients, and in-house testing methods while under the direction of the supervisor.
- Perform routine, special or complicated, Lead, Mercury, Antimony, Cadmium, Silicon, Nickel, Iron, Sodium, Potassium, Titanium, Zinc, Magnesium etc. involving wet chemistry and atomic absorption spectrophotometer both flame and furnace in which qualified by training and experience.
- Responsible for and UV-Vis and IR Identification, pH, viscosity, KF-Titration, Assay testing of raw materials and finished products involving titrimetric and gravimetric analysis in accordance with the established compendia, clients, and in-house testing methods while under the direction of the supervisor.
- Perform routine wet chemistry tests as assigned by chief chemist.
- Responsible to generate accurate results while following the SOPs or protocol relevant to the tests. Interpret and document all test results including calculations and observations in the laboratory notebook and complete the worksheets.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION**
- BSc Chemistry with 1- 2 years of pharmaceutical analytical laboratory experience.
- Must have hands on experience in ICP-MS, HPLC and GC
- Good knowledge and understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and has excellent problem-solving skills
- Good documentation practices

**CONTINUING EDUCATION**
