Event Operations Supervisor/floor Manager

We cater to corporate, social and communal events with an emphasis on exceptional weddings and corporate events.

**As a valuable member of our Events team, you will deliver food and beverage service to our guests at all times by living our Visions and Values.**
- Plan & Set up banquet room as per the requirements for service.
- Prepare for service; polish cutlery/glassware, prepare mise en place etc.
- Assist with food preparation before and during the event
- Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests, and buffet style service.
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely manner.
- Assist with post event clean up, inventory, food storage and tear down.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Smart Serve certification required
- You possess a high school diploma

**About you**:

- Are 18 years or older
- Able to handle high-stress situations
- Strong communication skills for discussing with colleagues and guests
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation for late nights
- Knowledge of catering best practices

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
