**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**1. Guest Room & Public Area Cleanliness**
- Room & Public Area Cleaning_: Clean and prepare guest rooms & public spaces to meet established cleanliness standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- _Building Maintenance_: Maintain the hotel rooms & building to provide a safe & sanitary experience for guests, associates & vendors.
- _Supply Organization_: Set up & maintain housekeeping carts and storerooms in a clean, organized & efficient manner.
- _Furniture & Fixtures Care_: Dust & polish furniture, fixtures & wall hangings to maintain a fresh, welcoming environment.
- _Bathroom Sanitation_: Wash & sanitize showers, tubs, toilets, sinks & all restroom surfaces.
- _Surface Cleaning_: Wipe down windows, doors, walls, closets, in rooms, hallways & public areas.
- _Guest Amenity Restocking_: Replace towels, soaps, room amenities & literature as needed for arriving guests.
- _Bedding & Linen Care_: Strip beds & replace linens to ensure cleanliness & guest comfort.
- _Closet & Storage Check_: Inspect & clean closets, ensuring proper supply of hangers, extra blankets & pillows.
- _Floor Care_: Vacuum guest rooms, hallways & public areas to maintain cleanliness.
- _Hard Floor Cleaning_: Wash all hard floor surfaces by hand to remove dirt & stains.

**2. Guest Service & Professionalism**
- Friendly & Courteous Service_: Maintain a friendly, cheerful & courteous demeanor at all times, providing exceptional service.
- _Guest Requests & Needs_: Respond promptly to guest requests & special needs, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- _Lost & Found Handling_: Handle lost & found items according to hotel policy & report them to Guest Services.
- _Team Collaboration_: Assist other housekeeping team members as needed to support smooth operations.

**3. Safety & Maintenance Awareness**
- _Maintenance Issue Reporting_: Inspect and report maintenance issues, such as non-functioning lights, faulty locks, or broken fixtures into Hotel Work Order System.
- _Security Checks_: Check door & window locks to ensure security & report any unsecured or unsafe situations.
- _Safety Compliance_: Ensure guest rooms meet safety & cleanliness standards to provide a comfortable stay.

**4. Operational Efficiency & Quality Control**
- _Supply Management_: Follow hotel guidelines for restocking and organizing linen closets & supply rooms.
- _Brand & Hotel Standards_: Adhere to Best Western & hotel cleanliness standards to ensure consistency.
- _Daily Reporting_: Report daily room status & any issues to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
- _Additional Duties_: Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain high cleanliness & service standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
