**Overview**
The Director of Education is responsible for overseeing the academic and instructional operations of the Strava College. The Director of Education will ensure that all educational programs align with institutional goals, regulatory standards, and best practices in teaching and learning.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and review curriculum in compliance with PTIRU requirements.
- Ensure Strava College compliance with PTIRU, Ministry, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all programs meet or exceed provincial educational standards and industry needs.
- Implement and monitor academic policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures.
- Lead academic planning, program evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Ensure instructors maintain PTIRU and institutional standards for teaching
- Oversee student academic performance, advising, and learning support.
- Monitor retention, graduation, and employment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate academic and student records for audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on institutional planning and new program development.
- Manage academic budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, accrediting agencies, and community stakeholders.
- This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the management.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in any field; a background in Education or related areas is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a post-secondary or private training institution, preferably in BC.
- In-depth knowledge of PTIRU regulations, accreditation processes, and post-secondary education policies in BC.
- Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
