**Job Description**:
**AECOM** is searching for a seeking Water/Wastewater Project Manager for full-time employment that can be based in any of our South Western Ontario offices (London, Kitchener or Hamilton).
The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
- Perform municipal wastewater treatment plant site investigations, data collection and analysis activities
- Prepare technical memoranda, and contribute to preliminary and detailed design reports
- Participate in wastewater engineering/process design activities including preparation of design calculations, equipment sizing and selection, process layouts, engineering specifications and cost estimates
- Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary design teams and assist with design coordination tasks
- Participate in contract administration services during the construction of wastewater infrastructure and facilities
- Assist in commissioning activities related to wastewater treatment process start-up
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering
- 8+ years of process design and project management experience in water, wastewater, pumping stations, and municipal infrastructure related projects.
- Registered in Ontario as P.Eng., or EIT eligible to receive P.Eng. certification within 12 months of hiring
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Municipal Water/Wastewater Project Management experience
- General understanding of instrumentation and process controls
- Experience in Ontario is considered an asset
- Good working knowledge of industry standard and local municipal standards and guidelines are considered an asset
- Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Motivated, team player, independent, organized with strong business acumen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to write winning proposals and obtain new work
