**Job Type**:
**Advertising Specialist**

The Advertising Specialist is responsible for the coordination of advertising and maintenance of price compliance as it relates to promotional strategies, marketing campaigns and execution. This position will act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the promotional strategy aligns brand and legal standards.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Collaborates with Marketing Manager and Director of Hardgoods and Apparel to ensure promotional strategy aligns with marketing and execution strategy
- Develops appropriate work back schedules, project trafficking and works with cross-functional teams to ensure programs are developed on time and to budget involving the appropriate resources
- Manages, in partnership with merchandising all campaign product lists and image sourcing for all communication channels
- Support marketing team with creative brief development for all major campaigns
- Leads price compliance standards including documenting/cataloguing price history, as well as proof reading, and outlining required annotations and edits to key marketing programs to ensure that tasks are completed to brand standard and meet legal requirements
- Coordinates photo-shoot requirements with marketing, merchants and external agencies as required
- Develops and maintains an up to date image library for the Creative Studio and marketing team to reference for ongoing collateral needs
- Consolidates all sales analysis for marketing communications
- Ensure the ETI is accurate and filled in a timely manner
- Contribute to the annual promo roadmap
- Conduct the week vs. week scorecard meeting and manage the meeting material

**What You Offer**
- A love of fashion, sport and a healthy, active lifestyle.
- University degree, preferably in marketing or business
- 2 to 3 years progressive marketing experience in a multi-site retail organization. Experience in promotional products industry an asset
- Able to articulate needs and clearly communicate expectations between stakeholders and vendors in a fast-paced environment
- Effectively manage tight deadlines within conflicting priorities
- A detailed and organized person with strong project management skills who has demonstrated ability to balance hands-on execution with organizing and monitoring projects
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment
- Able to deal with ambiguity
- Experienced influencing and working with creative and production resources for digital and print media
- Knowledge of brand identity, advertising and marketing strategy and regulations an asset
- Sound creative skills and knowledge of print production
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at the intermediate level
