**Procurement**:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Manage the full procurement cycle from sourcing to purchase order issuance.
- Utilize SAP and other systems to track inventory levels, manage MRP processes, and forecast purchasing needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely materials delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while actively seeking new sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and vendor performance.
- Manage purchase requests, purchase orders, receiving, invoice approval, vendor management, and contract management.
- Management of Bill of Materials including changes and version controls.
- Monitor industry trends and developments.
**Planning**:
- Coordinate with Demand Planning to ensure proper supply of goods that meets timeline requests.
- Manage special projects such as reworks, promotional activities & repacks.
- Review batch size strategy and MOQs to deliver requirements without exceeding inventory targets.
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production with co-manufacturers/packers to ensure the company meets all deadlines.
- Review production and inventory reports.
- Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
- Finding ways to improve productivity with co-manufacturers and co-packers.
Assist with any other tasks as deemed necessary by the Director of Operations to support cross-functional team.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Planning, Material Planning, Supply, or Demand planning, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and MRP systems for effective inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts.
- Experience in vendor management and sourcing strategies.
- Ability to analyze market trends and pricing structures effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to take initiative, resolve issues, provide solutions and recommendations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
