**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We’re looking for an energetic **Team Leader** to join our Picture Butte Greenhouses team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily production tasks, ensuring targets are met while fostering a positive and motivated workplace. We’re seeking a team player with strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement who can respectfully collaborate with a diverse group of employees. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- **Lead Daily Operations**: Oversee daily greenhouse operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. Work alongside the location grower.
- **Team Management**: Lead and motivate a team of greenhouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance team performance.
- **Scheduling and Coordination**: Develop and manage work schedules to ensure efficient task completion, adjusting as needed for production demands.
- **Resource Allocation**: Ensure the right amount of labor, materials, and equipment are available and used efficiently.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- **Performance Tracking**: Track and report on production metrics, providing feedback and adjusting meet targets.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement, contributing to greater efficiency and effectiveness in greenhouse operations.
- **Communication**:Serve as a liaison between the management team and greenhouse staff, ensuring clear communication of goals, updates, and feedback.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Experience**:Past greenhouse experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right individual.
- **Hardworking and Self-Motivated**: Demonstrates a strong work ethic, initiative, and the drive to take on challenges and meet production goals independently.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to quality and detail to ensure adherence to production standards.
- **Physical Stamina**: Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and able to handle the physical demands of greenhouse work.
- **Continuous Improvement Mindset**: Desire to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
- **Willingness to Work Long Hours**: Willing and able to work extended hours as needed during peak shipping seasons to support team and production goals.

**COMPENSATION**

Initial starting wage is between $19.50-$22.00/hr. and is dependent on expertise and experience.
