**Job Overview**
The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper ensures that all food safety standards are met while assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen.

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
- Help with the assembly of dishes and ensure proper presentation before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high standards of hygiene are upheld.
- Support the kitchen team with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in cleaning up after meal service, including clearing tables and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times.

**Skills**
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Good communication skills to follow instructions from chefs and cooks effectively.
- A passion for cooking and an interest in learning more about the culinary field.
