Markham, Canada Markham Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and register patients upon their arrival
- Document and gather information relating to the patient visit
- Answer incoming patient calls/inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Transcribe patient appointments
- Facilitate referrals for diagnostic testing
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments
- Set up examination room
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comply with health-care policies, including those relating to HIPAA

Hours:

- 3-4 days per week (9am to 5pm)

Qualifications:

- Recent experience in a healthcare/patient-care setting recommended. _**International graduates with previous training in Medicine or Nursing are encouraged to apply.**_
- Prior experience working in a medical office setting is an asset
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology is an asset
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skill
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as being able to accept work from various sources
- Well organized and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Flexible working hours an asset
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office and EMR (Accuro)
- Valid first aid and CPR certificate
- Current vulnerable sector check

Required Language
- English and Cantonese. Working fluency in Mandarin beneficial.

Salary
- Commensurate on experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 per week

Schedule:

- No weekends
