Gallery Assistant

**Duties**:

- Assist with the installation and de-installation of art exhibitions
- Provide support during gallery events and openings
- Greet and engage with visitors, providing information about the artwork and artists
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gallery space
- Assist with inventory management, including cataloging and labeling artwork
- Process sales transactions and handle cash transactions
- Assist with social media management, including posting updates and promoting events

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a gallery or similar arts-related environment is preferred
- Knowledge of contemporary art and artists is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning gallery space
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Strong communication skills to interact with visitors, artists, and staff members
