**RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**:

- Supervision of payroll agents;
- Update sick hours, holidays, etc. for each employee;
- Take care of employee files, termination notices and be the point of contact for all compensation and benefits issues;
- Prepare and verify end of period reports;
- Make changes to hourly rates and qualifications;
- Perform year-end preparation and production of T4 and Relevé 1 slips.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Have approximately 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position with employee supervision;
- Experience with the payroll of unionized employees;
- Excellent communication skills in French and English;
- Knowledge of the Nethris Payroll system an asset;
- Accreditation from the Canadian Payroll Association would be an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of EXCEL;
- Likes to manipulate numbers and follow established procedures;
- Thoroughness, precision, organization and rigor;
