Total Transload Services is a bulk material handling and logistics company based out of Sturgeon County in Alberta. We provide customized solutions for transloading, storing, and delivering to all of our clients.

We are currently looking to fill a position for a fleet maintenance coordinator. In this role, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- **Fleet Maintenance Management**:

- Schedule and coordinate regular preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all fleet vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle mileage, usage, and performance data to forecast maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and servicing schedules.
- **Vendor and Technician Coordination**:

- Liaise with mechanics, technicians, and external vendors for specialized repairs.
- Ensure timely delivery of parts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with service providers and parts suppliers.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all vehicles meet federal, provincial/state, and local transportation regulations.
- Monitor fleet compliance with safety standards, including brakes, tires, and lighting systems.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and ensure safety compliance.
- **Inventory and Budget Management**:

- Track inventory levels of parts, tools, and equipment to avoid shortages.
- Prepare and monitor the fleet maintenance budget, aiming for cost-efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or quality.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Provide regular updates to management on fleet status, repairs, and costs.
- Communicate maintenance schedules and vehicle availability to operations teams.
- Develop and present reports on key metrics, such as downtime, maintenance costs, and fleet performance.
- **Problem-solving and Emergency Response**:

- Respond to unexpected breakdowns or maintenance emergencies.
- Develop contingency plans to address fleet issues with mínimal disruption to operations.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 drivers license;
- Skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of trucks and heavy equipment;
- Capable of preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports;
**Preferred Skills**:

- Be a self-starter and a problem-solver
- Have excellent work attendance history
- Knowledge of how material handling equipment works
- Must enjoy working outdoors in all climates
- Willing to work various shifts
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be reliable and have own vehicle as public transportation is not available

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

- Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (preferred)
