**Job Summary**

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in using technology for instruction, including having your own laptop to deliver lessons and manage course materials effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to break down complex topics in a way that is engaging and accessible to students.
- Experience teaching Python programming, particularly with a focus on introducing students to the basics of coding and game development. You should be able to guide students in creating simple games, fostering their creativity, and encouraging problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and adapting instructional methods as needed to meet individual learning needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach Python programming, covering foundational concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, and functions, and guide students in developing their own simple games to boost their creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Introduce students to robotics, teaching them the basics of building and programming robots. Students will learn to use sensors, motors, and other components to bring their robotic creations to life.
- Provide a blend of theoretical and practical instruction to engage students, balancing classroom learning with hands-on activities and projects.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow. Offer constructive feedback to help students improve and track their progress over time.
- Use clear communication skills to simplify complex topics, ensuring students of all abilities can follow along and succeed.
- Adapt to the needs of each student and class, creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning experience.

**Skills**:

- Ability to read and understand the educational content provided and deliver it effectively to students aged 9 to 15.
- Experience teaching Python programming to students, enabling them to start developing their own games through project-based learning.
- A hands-on approach to teaching robotics, encouraging students to explore how programming and mechanics come together in fun, practical projects.
- Strong organizational skills for managing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
