**Beaver Plastics Ltd. is looking to fill an immediate opening for a Shipper/Receiver at our Chilliwack, BC location.**

**Job Status**:Permanent/Full

**Wage**: Starts at $20.65/hr increased to $21.81 after 3 month probation.

**Job Duties**
- Reports to the head of the 2 person shipping department.
- Complete tasks such as: loading, offloading, sorting, picking, stocking, and staging product.
- Perform freight handling utilizing appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack.
- Load and unload materials from flat deck and enclosed trailers.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Ensure customer orders are filled accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Direct work experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs/20kg.
- Computer literacy

**Working Conditions**
- Working in warehouse environment and outside.
