About The Role
The Proposal Writer is responsible for supporting the Proposal team by taking a lead role in creating proposal documents that are study / client specific, strongly compelling, and consistently achieve high quality-driven standards. The Protocol Writer also supports the Business Development (BD) team by strategizing on and creating fit for purpose case studies, presentations and summaries that highlight Altasciences’ differentiators to drive new business awards.
What You'll Do Here
- May have supervisor responsibilities.
- Maintain and improve Altasciences Proposal Templates with ongoing updates to formatting, presentation styles, and content in coordination with Marketing.
- Ensure content of individual proposal documents reflects Altasciences’ corporate strategy and addresses information and expectations identified in the sponsor’s Request for Proposal (RFP) document
- Coordinate with internal operational teams to compile content for each proposal document, in line with RFP requirements;
- Work directly with BD Lead to ensure the content of the proposal document delivers the customized messaging specific to each RFP and client;
- Esnure responses to Requests for Information (RFI) are concise and meet the needs of the specific RFP.
- Ensure the presentation style of the RFI response aligns with overall style of the proposal;
- Responsible for maintaining proposal specific Working Instruction and/or Style Guide documents;
- Responsible for accurately updating and maintaining the Proposal Workload Tracker on a daily basis
- Responsible for updating and maintaining proposal-specific spreadsheet to track the supplemental marketing material used for each proposal
- Responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding libraries Iof proposal-ready content (e.g., current capabilities, facilities, clinical experience, internal staff experience, biosketches, org charts, etc.);
- Attend Strategy Meetings for each RFP in support of proposal document development;
- May perform additional tasks in support of proposal team objectives and staff development

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher level degree in science or related discipline. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills as well as understanding clinical research
- Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and expedited timelines;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Team player
