Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents. This is a rewarding position that requires patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and guidance to youth in various settings, such as schools, community centers, or residential facilities
- Develop and implement educational and recreational activities to engage and inspire youth
- Foster positive relationships with youth and serve as a role model
- Assist with homework and educational tasks
- Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution skills
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, counselors, and social workers, to ensure the well-being of the youth
- Monitor and document the progress and behavior of the youth
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with youth
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Must have critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have a strong work ethic and be proactive
- Must be trauma informed
- Must have a Class 5 driving license and a reliable vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
