**Job Summary**

HMD Engineering is an established custom CNC Manufacturing Machine Shop located in Langley, BC. For the last three decades we have provided high quality custom, Machining and Manufacturing services to our Canadian and American clients. We support a variety of industries including Pulp and Paper, Forestry, Oil and Gas and Mining/Refining industries.

**The Opportunity**

CNC Machinist
- Full Time, permanent position
- Day Shift
- Salary: $32.00 - $42.00, dependent on qualifications and / or experience,
- Benefits

**Competencies**

**Successful applicant**:

- Reads and interprets drawings, makes up fixturing, selects tools, proves out and edits programs, run small batches, and perform in-process QC
- Works independently and collaborates as a team member
- Is a critical thinker able to creatively problem solve
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills

**Assets**:

- Ability to program using Mastercam and/or Gibbs is an asset
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Fagor and Heidenhain Controls, is an asset
- Ability to run 2, 3 and 4 axis milling and turning is an asset

**Qualifications**

Red Seal / Journeyman Machinist, or equivalent work experience

**Salary**: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
