- Permanent**Closing Date**Intended job posting audience**Engineers Yukon is the regulatory organization established under the Engineering Profession Act (Yukon) to regulate the practice of engineering, to govern the profession in accordance with the Act, Regulations and By-Laws, and to establish and maintain standards of knowledge, skill, care and professional ethics among its members and licensees, in order that the interest of the public may be served and protected.
Responsibilities of the Registration Coordinator include:
- processing payments for applicant fees and initial member/permit holder fees
- preparing for Board of Examiner meetings
- maintenance of the Engineers Yukon database including accurate and timely data entry, preparing reports, responding to report requests, exporting data to the national database
- maintaining the integrity and security of all registrant records
- contributing to continuous improvement of registration processes
- educating and communicating with applicants about the registration process
- assisting with annual renewal process for 1200+ individuals and 400+ permit holders
- coordinating communications to membership through online database management system
- building relationships with other provincial/territorial engineering admissions officials
- representing Engineers Yukon’s admission and registration interests at the NAOG meetings
- participating and contributing to Engineers Yukon projects as needed
- three to five years in office administration, preferably with customer service experience and some quality improvement responsibilities
- graduate of a recognized office administration or business program or a combination of education, training, and progressively responsible experience in an administrative role
- prior experience in a regulatory association environment will be considered an asset
- experience in Microsoft office is required, experience with member management systems an asset
- strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in an everchanging environment and manage time efficiently; comfortable working independently as well as under supervision or in collaboration with others on the Engineers Yukon team; ability to critically evaluate processes and scenarios and contribute to registration related decisions
