**Position Summary**

**Position**: Casual On-Call

**Wage Range**

Grid level 11 - $22.68-26.42 per hour

**Qualifications**

**_Education and experience_**
- Minimum diploma in Community Social Services or care aid certificate
- Recent, related experience of two years or
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience or
- Other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.

**_ Job skills and abilities_**
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Physically able to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to work in collaboration with others
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients
- Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients
- Knowledge of community resources
- Ability to handle conflict
- Ability to utilize own vehicle with mileage compensation if required

- Criminal Record Search in accordance with agency policy
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid BC driver’s license and use of reliable vehicle
