The Retail Sales team is responsible for servicing our clients by providing value-add solutions and exceptional client experience while driving growth and AUM. About the Role:
As part of the Retail Sales team, the National Accounts Team has a dynamic and exciting opportunity. Reporting to Vice-President, National Accounts, the National Account Specialist is responsible to help support the overall National Accounts function on bank and independent dealer platforms. The responsibilities for this role primarily include forging relationships with AGF’s national account clients, strategy approvals, AGF’s Separately Managed Accounts (UMA/SMAs), recommend and approved investment strategies, ETFs, conferences, model portfolios, analyst meetings and research.

Your Responsibilities:

- Support the National Accounts team with opportunities to increase AUM and add new strategies on dealer platforms within existing and new National Accounts clients.
- Help manage the pipeline of national account opportunities.
- Help support and maintain strong relationships with dealers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Product, and Compliance) to execute requests related to National Accounts and client specific needs.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry and dealer trends by staying informed of new products and services rolled out by dealers.
- Prepare and coordinate presentations, conference calls, dealer conferences, marketing materials, and activity reporting.
- Prepare regular updates and reporting against national account objectives.
- Lead the coordination of service due diligence by prepping material for key dealers.
- Create and drive better efficiencies on existing workstreams by working with internal stakeholders to identify gaps and communicating any updates to both Analysts and our internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate on training and support on Focused Dealers and Retail Sales

Your Requirements:

- 2-5 years of experience in the Sales or Finance industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
- Working knowledge of investment strategies encompassing UMA/SMA, and ETF products, including competitive offerings and market trends
- High learning agility, with the ability to deepen knowledge of AGF’s investment products and strategies.
- Strong computer and phone skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to create and maintain relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills
- Self-motivated and ability to be a great team player.

- Working knowledge of Unified Managed Accounts
