Comtech (Communication Technologies) Ltd. is an integrated communications company providing state-of-the-art telecommunication solutions. We have a wide range of services that we provide; from our field staff who perform the technical work on our cellular towers and roof tops, project managers and engineers who work together on project design and architectural concepts to our IT department, which includes our in-house Network Operation Center (NOC).
The Wireless Telecom Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing comprehensive, accurate and timely estimates for small, medium and large scale proposals. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and critically analyzing tender documents for unclear technical or commercial items and submitting queries to the client for response.
- Attending site visits
- Develop estimate and communicate and coordinate internal proposal details to management
- Communicate and coordinate proposal documentation
- Communicate and coordinate material quotations/requisitions with purchasing and suppliers
- Communicate 3rd party information to other departments
- Coordinate and create the project schedule of each estimate
- Integrating lessons learned into historical data for future reference.
- Clearly transfer / present / articulate methodology of estimation process to field operations teams.
**EDUCATION AND SKILLS**:
- Minimum of 2+ years of estimating experience in Wireless Telecom.
- Post Secondary Certificate in Construction Estimation considered an asset.
- Travel will be required (up to 25%)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills
- Drivers license - clean driving record
- Organized / attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
**Salary**: $67,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
