**Kinesiologist Job Description**

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documenting patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families about medical terminology related to their conditions and treatment options.
- Provide customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in kinesiology and rehabilitation practices.

**Skills**
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems for documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation practices.
- Experience in acute care settings is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
- Strong verbal communication skills to convey information clearly to patients and team members.
- Understanding of medication administration protocols as they relate to rehabilitation.

**Requirements**:

- Bcak Certified
- First Aid level 1
- Liability Insurance
