**Responsibilities**:
Process and maintain all accounts payable records including vendor invoices, credit cards, monthly reconciliations, as well as prepare and process all payments.

Accounts Receivable including generating and reviewing monthly customer invoices and schedule of values, collaborating with project managers to gather necessary supporting documentation, tracking and monitoring accounts receivables balances, and ensuring timely collections.

Review and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, ensuring proper coding and documentation.

Prepare and process weekly unionized payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours worked, overtime calculations, and employee deductions, as well as submitting monthly union remittances.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accrual journal entries and account reconciliations.

Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Stay updated with industry regulations and changes in accounting standards, ensuring compliance and recommending process improvements.

Perform other general administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk, preferably in the construction industry.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of construction industry terminology and project costing is a plus.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
