Service Writer

**Greeting customers**: Welcoming customers to the service center and understanding their needs.
- **Listening to customer concerns**: Attentively hearing about vehicle issues, problems, and requests.
- **Providing service recommendations**: Based on customer needs and budget, suggesting necessary repairs or maintenance.
- **Explaining services**: Clearly explaining repair options and maintenance needs in understandable terms.
- **Estimating costs**: Providing cost estimates for repairs and obtaining customer approval before proceeding with the work.

Scheduling and Coordination:

- **Scheduling appointments**: Arranging service appointments for customers.
- **Communicating with technicians**: Clearly conveying customer concerns and needs to technicians.
- **Monitoring progress**: Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicle's service.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

- **Handling customer complaints**: Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
- **Ensuring customer satisfaction**: Focusing on delivering a positive customer experience throughout the service process.
- **Following up**: Reminding customers about upcoming maintenance needs and ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

- **Creating service orders**: Documenting vehicle problems, necessary repairs, and associated costs.
- **Maintaining records**: Keeping track of customer interactions and vehicle service history.

Additional Responsibilities:

- **Advising on available services**:Informing customers about other available services, such as extended warranties or add-on packages.
- **Selling merchandise**:Selling parts, accessories, or other merchandise related to vehicle maintenance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
